Ramblers were unlucky in their last game , away at UCD.
They were equalised in the final moments of the game , by none other than UCD's goalkeeper.
That affected them for sure , but also they should learn from their mistakes.
Overall they were better and deserved more, the goal that came in extra time was a huge blow.

Gefle IF vs IFK Goteborg

These two teams just meet a week ago in Goteborg , where the IFK won 3-0
The game was very easy for the hosts, and after they managed to take the lead Gefle completely lost confidence and gave up.
However a player from Gefle made himself noticed after caming in as a sub in the 2nd half ,Amadou Jawo and most probably he will be used from the begining in this game.

On Wednesday IFK will host Basel in a game for Champions League qualifications.
Jonas Olsson, IFK's coach stated that the players are completely focused for the game against Gefle.

We can say that in the first game Rennes was lucky as they managed to score the winning goal in minute 92.
A big dissapointment for the ukrainian side Tavriya.
But the fact is that Rennes played without several key players.

After that game they had a friendly against Sparta Prague , in which all the important players were available, and
they managed to win 2-0.

So , for this game , Rennes's manager Guy Lacombe called those who missed the first leg : Elderson Echiejile, Stéphane Mbia , Jimmy Briand, Sylvain Wiltord .

Also the two new Renne's players Asamoah Gyan and Carlos Bocanegra made the trip to Ukraine.

I think it's clear to anyone in which side the value is.
So even if they will play on home ground , i am sure that Tavria will find this game much more difficulty than the 1st leg, especially when they are starting in disadvantage considering the result from the 1st leg.

Even if they will qualify with just a draw the odds on Rennes are to high to be ignored .

To be honest it came as a surprise to me that Rennes didn't managed a direct Uefa Cup place.

The good run of St.Etienne through the entire season was probably the cause of that.
