| FC Valencia vs. Real Betis Sevilla Valencia had a comfortable 4-0 win in the UEFA cup against Rosenborg; I could easily say with the reserve squad. Now we should see the real managerial hunch of Emery because he needs to mix the reserve squad with the first team squad, as they seem they couldn’t find the goal. This was evident at the last week encounter vs. Sevilla in a match that ended up in a boring draw. Vicente has been reported injured recently but this shouldn’t be a problem for Emery, there’s wunderkind Mata, who’s been constant in the first team. Betis had 4 consecutive wins, both in the Primera and in Copa Del Rey; it’s notable that all these wins are against relatively weaker opponents, Gijon, Racing Santander, Castellon and Numancia. It will be interesting to see them playing as they face Valencia’s strong team. Jose Mari is the addition to the long list of injuries, most of them strikers: Xisco, Edu, midfielder Mark Gonzalez and Odonkor. Their progress is interesting because in round 6 they were 20th and now they moved up to the 8th position. We will have to see if they can maintain that rhythm. Prediction: Valencia @ 1.75
