Full Tilt Poker is with Revoked License !!!

One day later, there is still little reaction from Full Tilt Poker in response to the Alderney Gaming Commission’s decision to pull the beleaguered site’s gaming license.
The revoked license is just the latest issue for Full Tilt Poker, which has seen its reputation in the poker community tumble over the last two months. The troubles began on April 15, the so-called “Black Friday” when the United States Justice Department indicted 11 people and shut down the three largest online poker sites taking players from the United States: PokerStars, Absolute Poker, and Full Tilt.
Days later, both PokerStars and Full Tilt announced agreements with the Department of Justice that would allow them to pay back account balances to their American players. PokerStars was quick to respond by beginning to pay their USA patrons within days, and has since announced paying out over $120 million to Americans.
Unfortunately, Full Tilt Poker was not as quick to respond. After weeks of saying that they were working on the issue, the site finally admitted that they did not have a date in sight for making payments to the USA. While confidence was initially high that players would be repaid, the lack of communication and slow response from FTP was enough to begin seeding doubt in the minds of players as the World Series of Poker approached.
Those doubts were only amplified after Phil Ivey, the world’s most recognizable poker player and one of the faces of Full Tilt Poker, announced he would not be playing in the WSOP and would be suing Full Tilt in an attempt to force their hand. While there have been reports of meetings between Ivey and FTP executives in Ireland, there has been little other movement in the legal arena.
In the past week, things began to look up for Full Tilt, and Jack Binion was reportedly linked to the site as a possible investor. However, the announcement yesterday that Alderney had pulled the site’s license, and the subsequent halt of real money play on FTP, have left players less hopeful than ever that they’ll be seeing their account balances any time soon.
It is unclear when or if Full Tilt Poker will resume operations. While a meeting is scheduled with Alderney officials in July, rumors have swirled that FTP may attempt to reopen as an unlicensed entity, or seek licensing in another jurisdiction.
