Could we have another lakers v celtics final. The suns roll into the staples centre for game 1 and certainly go in with bags of confidence. It was originally the Denver nuggetts who were supposedly going to push the lakers in the western conference after there disposal it was to be the jazz or the spurs now after all the fuss it's the suns who will have to step up to the plate and try to overcome lakers with home advantage. An interesting stat only 23% of teams who play on the road in the playoffs win a best of 7 series so you could say the odds are against the suns, then you factor in the fact that the lakers and suns have matched up 4 times this season with the lakers 3-1 (with 2 blowouts occuring in the staples centre). However 2 of those 3 victories occurrd without lopez in the suns lineup and although people will say Nash and co are the key... The key I believe to any suns success in the series is the 7ft lopez at center. Anyway let's cut to the chase look for this series to go 6-7games the suns will definetly have to win all there home games and somehow trap a victory in the staples centre... However that victory will not come in game 1 and I expect the lakers to cover in game 1 and Bryant and Co. to come out all guns blazing.

Lakers win series 4-2 (however suns will win one of these games on a blowout at home let's just hope were on them!)
