Manchester City-Sunderland
TEAM NEWS
Man City
Micah Richards is out of the team with a slight injury but will return in time for next week's game against Portsmouth. Martin Petrov has shrugged off a toe injury and should feature in the starting XI.
Manchester City (from): Hart, Isaksson, Corluka, Onuoha, Dunne, Garrido, Ball, Ireland, Geovanni, Hamann, Fernandes, Vassell, Johnson, Petrov, Sun, Elano, Mpenza, Samaras, Bianchi.
Sunderland
Defenders Paul McShane and Greg Halford are both out through suspension. They could be joined in the dugout by Dwight Yorke and Roy O'Donovan who both face late fitness tests. Graham Kavanagh could feature after being recalled from a loan spell with Sheffield Wednesday.
Sunderland (from): Gordon, Ward, Kay, Nosworthy, Higginbotham, Collins, Harte, Etuhu, Yorke, Leadbitter, Miller, Wallace, Kavanagh, Jones, Chopra, Murphy, Stokes, Connolly, O'Donovan.
After the 6-0 humiliation at Stamford bridge, Man city are hosting Roy Keane boys trying to record their 7th straight home win in the campaign. Now we will see how serious are Sven's top-finishing aspirations. Big blow for City will be Micah Richards. Because Sunderland have the superb Kenwyne Jones, who will be the main threat for city defenders, and i just can't see anyone stopping him in the absense of Richards. For the black cats defenders Paul McShane and Greg Halford will be missing, so man city will have chances in attack.
Usually we see goals in the Monday games.so
Pick: Both teams to score, Away win +0.5AH, Over 2,5 goals
