Weekend Wrap Up...

I dont know which one describes my weekend combo's the best...lol

I still got a treble paid from combo's 2, 3, 5 and 6..
plus all of combo 8 got paid..

Most dissapointing...
Chelsea, i'm not going to make excuses for them, in my opinion they never even showed up...Chelsea is my EPL team and i was very very angry with not only the result but the effort by the players... the commentator for the coverage here was giving wigan a huge wrap for playing so well but lol at that... I know what i saw and that was a Chelsea team that could have been beaten by me and any 10 other soccervista contributers. Honestly they were poor imo.

Middlesbrough.. After a blinder of a first half and finding themselves up 2-0 obv they just couldnt handle the pressure..Football is a game that requires 90 mins effort not 45.. coventry scored around the 80' then again right on 90.....very poor.

Valencia...again another late late goal to screw me...they had to hold on for just 1 and a half more minutes..is that really too much to ask?? I was always taught that if this is the case just boot the ball out of your area, getting it far far away from your goal always makes it hard for the other team to score...

West Brom, A Villa and Bristol Rovers also make the weekend's poor effort list for me.......

OH poor Portsmouth ... Even tho i backed Everton i really felt for them after the game.. a good effort and very unlucky not to grab at least a point from the game.

Anyway with that of my chest it's time to look forward....

I expect great results from the CL match day 2...I've done too much research to have a repeat of the weekend...will post a few hours before the games start. Still just need a little more team news..

To ins1908, yeh BBC and goal.com are good....espn soccernet is ok, going to a team offical website can also yeild some good info, other forums, and sometimes a simple google news result search will also get good results.The one piece of advice i can give tho is, always cross refrence your info the best you can...and i feel u on the frustration level, it's getting very high at the moment.
