Germany U21 - France U21

Lets start with the goalkeeper-position: Manuel Neuer was among the five keepers who have been nominated by UEFA for the best CL-keeper of the last season - dont have to say that he brings not only quality but also a lot of experience into this team. On the rightback, Beck is regular starter of surprising 1899 Hoffenheim, who currently rock the Bundesliga, Höwedes from Schalke brings in CL-experience as well, Schwaab from Freiburg surely will make his way into Bundesliga next season and Sebastion Boenisch is already one of the best leftbacks in the league, especially offensively a great player, who only has some minor problems defensively - but thats a must if you play for Werder Bremen..
But this midfield! Led by Gonzalo Castro, who debuted in Leverkusen at the age of 17 and already made his first games for the A-Team, he is regular for Leverkusen, Mesut Özil of Werder Bremen has been nominated by ESM into European Top11 of the month of September, has also been the player of the month in Bundesliga, at his side, not much worse, Ashkan Dejagah, offensive allrounder from Wolfsburg, always dangerous, a very intelligent creative player, not to forget Khedira from Stuttgart, who won the championship with Stutgart already and currently is regular starter in his club, playing quite a good season. Replacements in midfield are players like Toni Kroos, voted best player of U17-WC last year, Jerome Boateng, who was regular starter of Hamburg last season or Eugen Polanski, who plays in Primera Division. In attack we will see german shootingstart Marko Marin and experienced bremen-forward Aaron hunt, who has played many CL-Games already... The French team on the other hand - of course they are full of talents as well. But the bad luck of France U21 is, that some of them are just too good and the A-team is in a crisis. Benzema, Hatem Ben-Arfa, Yoann Gourcuff and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris are not available. Arsenal-Midfielder Samir Nasri has not been nominated neither because of his injury he is not fit yet. I believe, that this German U21 will keep what their names promise and bring the german into the leading position in this 1st leg. There is still a second match to play, where France surely wont give away their best players. So for Friday night, I go with the germans...
