    Default US Open

Nikolay Davydenko (RUS) - Roger Federer (SUI)

Federer eliminate Roddick with ease 3-0 sets, but he doesn't played well. In this game only his serve worked well. On the other hand Davydenko played fantastic against Haas winning 3-0, he was all over the court, he wasn't making any mistakes at all, he was fenomenal, unstoppable. I just can't see Federer winning, if he doesn't make so huge improvement in his game. I think that Davydenko have the chance to eliminate Federer but everybody knows that Roger gets better and better with every match he play. I advise you to take Davydenko with the +2,5 sets handicap, because i think that he will win at least one set with high stakes. I will personaly put some money on a clear Davydenko win - odds in my bookie 9,5
And I will also put some money on Davydenko to win the US Open, because if he eliminate Federer i just can't see ho will stop him secuiring the tittle- odds in my bookie are 23- very tasty

Davydenko don't have a chance against Federer. Davydenko with the +2,5 sets handicap could pass but the other two picks are 'science fiction'

don't underestimate him darresi, his is from this kind of hard-working players that can make suprises, in combination with Federer's form, who knows, everything can happen. It could be the match of the tournament

I think that the bet for Davydenko is valuable because for me the odds aren't real and they doesn't reflect the chance for both players to win
In my opinion the persentage should be like that:
Davydenko 25-30 % and Roger 70-75% wining the game
But the bookies are lowering Davydenko's chances, and odds respectively, because they know that everybody will bet on Roger, and with odds around 9 for Davydenko to win, they are giving him around 5-10 % chances of win. So for me there is value in this bet

I also like Novak, he has the talent, but i think he needs 1-2 years to get the needed confidence to be equal to Federer and Nadal, because he is somehow afraid of them when i watched him playing against these two

I agree , there is value but similar situation was on Federer - Roddick match ( odds for Fedex win were around 1.05) You must agree Roddick also should have at least 20% chances to win ...

Your bet would have some chances on clay but on hard ...

However, wish you luck, I've already told you I hate Fed.

Xtremer11, don't look just to a single match playd by Federer ( that with Roddick). Roddick was fresh in this open (he beneficied by two abandon here) and if he does't meet Federer here, he was in final, he play fantastic, serving well and with power, he didn't make chance to Federer to break him. If you watch the matches of Federer with Isner and Lopez .... well, Federer plays fantastic after he loose the first set (in the match with Isner in second and third set he didnt't make any single unforced error, and with Lopez he fave 35 winners consecutively ... and that says a lot). Federer knows how to play with the russian. If you remember Haas break Davy in every set, but confidence in his game was the motive that he loose the match. That's why Davy not win in front of Federer, he remember that he loose 9 match in front of him and ... I remember the match between this guys in French open, there was a chance to Davy to take the first set after he break Federer, but he didn't because he was enabled to finished him and Federer won in 3 sets. Last year Davy lost in front of Federer here at Usopen. I think is gonna be a hard game, but Federer in last will win. Good luck.
