Zurich Open / Switzerland prize / money : 600 000 USD surface: indoors Niculescu M. (66) v Chakvetadze A. (12) Niculescu is in better form that Chakvetadze, she's coming from qualifiers, where she beat Bondarenko (61) 6-1 6-1. But indoors she has only two victory, where the opponents where in first 100 wta ranking. Chakvetadze was eliminated in first round in Moscow by Wozniacki (16) 2-6 6-1 6-4. She won Paris Open in feb 2008. I think Chakvetadze has more quality, and she will beat the 3.5 game handicap. My choice: Chakvetadze A. -3.5 game handicap. Niculescu - Chakvetadze 3-6 6-3 6-2 Pick lost. Last edited by docktor; 10-14-2008 at 09:17 PM..

Any serious punter should have accounts with as many bookmakers as possible. Some books don't cover all the games, others offer better odds, in-play betting... All following sportbooks I am using every day and I can recommend them all.

I had a great feeling in Tursunov - Hanescu, where I think the odds for Hanescu victory (3.40) are too big, he is underrated. The game handicap is 3.5. If there where 4 game handicap, probably that where the bet of the day for me. Both players are in good form, both have good serve, Hanescu has an advantage in break points converted, while Tursunov has advantage in service games won. Tursunov looks better choice, but a think there won't be more than 4 game handicap. In their h2h Tursunov leads 2-0. This one is not a pick, it's only commentary.

Nalbandian D. v Berdych T. 1 Nalbandian in great form, he won in Stockholm few days ago beating Robin Soderling in final. Berdych pass easy round 1 beating Rainer Schuettler 6-1 6-2. In h2h Nalbandian leads 3-1, they meet last time in last years Madrid Master, also in 2 round, Nalbandian won in 3 sets 4-6 6-4 7-6. I think Nalbandian will win this, odd 1.70 is good enough for me. Wawrinka S. v Kohlschreiber P. 2 Also great form for Kohlschreiber, semi-final in Wien, beating Verdasco and Gicquel, lost against Gael Monfils in 3 sets 6-4 5-7 7-6. Wawrinka was eliminated in 1 round in Wien by Petzschner (125). Kohlschreiber is my choice. Odd 1.73.
