Default Brasileiro Serie B

Welcome!

I thought after last night I would begin to look more closely at this league. It appears to me to be a great league and slightly more consistent with statistics.

17.11.2007 Vitoria BA v Remo PA:

After battering CRB last night 4-1, Vitoria guaranteed promotion to Brazil's Serie A continuing an immense home record and remain the league's top home team goalscorers with a massive 44 goals in 18 matches.

On Saturday they face Remo who, sadly for them are already relegated. Remo's away record is poor in that they have recorded only 1 victory in 18.

As soon as odds become available I'd back Vitoria -1.5 AH as their team is on a huge high which in my opinion will reflect in their performance on Saturday as they need to show the boys in Serie A what's coming for next season.

My bet (once available):

17.11.2007 Vitoria BA win -1.5 AH

Also consider:

17.11.2007 - Ituano SP vs CRB AL over 2.5 ( Ituano already relegated, CRB fighting to stay up as there is a large relegation battle still being contended between several teams. So I think CRB will be very positive leaving themselves vulnerable defensively and have conceded 16 in 6 games whereas Ituano have fair home goalscoring record).

17.11.2007 - Gama +1 away to Barueri ( Gama will be fighting to avoid relegation and never seem to lose by much away from home)

My first proper post so all advice/opinions most welcome.

Good luck to all, with all that you require luck!

Pavlo Poliak.

Recommended bookmakers
Any serious punter should have accounts with as many bookmakers as possible. Some books don't cover all the games, others offer better odds, in-play betting... All following sportbooks I am using every day and I can recommend them all.

Thanks, ENGLISH. Won't be giving up on anything!!!!

Vitoria only managed draw (shocking), CRB won only 1-0 away at Ituano and I was right to back Gama who won 2-0 impressively away to Barueri.

With only 1 more game to play in the Brasileiro 2nd Div, 4 teams are left fighting to stay in division. My early thoughts are that Avai can survive as their final game is at home against bottom side Ituano a good chance for them that they MUST take. More later in the week..............

My top pick has to be clear home win for Avai v Ituano. As I mentioned before, Avai are playing for survival and Ituano already relegated have conceded 48 in 18 matches away from home losing 15 of those.

Secondly, the 2nd div title is still open between Coritiba and Ipatinga who both play away from home. I can't see either team losing as they both play weak opposition and would obviously love to be promoted as 2nd div champions.

My suggestion is Avai WIN
Coritiba WIN
Ipatinga WIN.

However my bet is with bet365 who seem quite generous for me.

Avai to win 1.53
Coritiba AH 0 1.7
Ipatinga AH +0.5

Total odds 4.88. I'm taking this but still being cautious playing high stakes on double.

Good Luck
