EURO 2008 first impressions

I didn't want to post in the Euro 2008 stage prediction thread because we won't know what we speak about...

So my suggestion is to write down your thoughts, impression about all the team from Euro, after their first games.

Switzerland - this team has potential really. Maybe their defence is a bit to shaky but in the game with Czech they had some opportunities.

Czech- they dissapointed me in the game with Switzerland, after that lucky goal scored, that striker hit the ball wrong. If they qualify from the group stages, they will lose their first game.

Portugal- I thought Portugal is like Manchester, they play well if Ronaldo plays well. Deco and Simao are in a very good form while their defence played impressive. Big chances to win Euro.

Turkey- mediocre team really, Emre played awful, Nihat who seemed to be in a good form at Villareal had no chances against Portugal's defenders.

Austria -they're are here just because they are the host country. Young players, maybe in the future they'll do better. 0 points is my guess.

Croatia- impressed really by the team that left England home. Their playmaker is Modric, a very good and talented player. Good defence and organization. Has big chances to get far.

Germany- was, is, and will be a force. All their players perform at important clubs in Europe and they showed a good organization. That's why they are favourites to win the trophy.

Poland - a good team, it's hard to win against Germany but the other two games will be interesting. Poland have talented players that will qualify them from the group i guess.

Romania - we played good against France, it was a boring game, but a point is important. We got talented players and we hope Mutu and Chivu will qualify us further.

France- still isn't in the best form, Benzema had some chances against Romania, but he didnt manage to score. I don't like this team, but they have a good chance to win Euro.

Holland - if they continue playing like they did in the game with Italy, they could win Euro. Very good team with very good players.

Italy- still a force, they lost the first game, but they are Italy and won't give up. They will need points desperate so i'm a bit worried for Romania. Let's see

Spain - one name. David Villa, is in an excellent form and I think he will be the best scorer. They will win their group with no problems and with maximum of points.

Russia- good team, it's hard to win against Spain. They goot talented players and I expect them to advance from the group.

Greece- it was just pure luck that they've won Euro 2004, they don't play like they did then. No chanes of going further.

Sweden- the 2-0 win over Greece shocked me a bit, but Zlatan & Co want to advance from the groups. Will they? We will see.
