You are right Rodger, i made a blunder, I will consider re playing Marselle as i expect Olympiakos to now draw.

Luckily enough, I played Marseille + Olympiakos double before you said that it's neutral ground, and I somehow managed to beat my rotten luck. Yes, John, you use to say that there is no bad luck, just insight, but if 1.25 odds failure isn't bad luck, I don't know what is.

I shouldn't even mention my formula one combo last weekend...

only pair that failed;
alonso - rosberg --- played alonso, 1.15 odds, starting grid: alonso 5th, rosberg 13th --- final standings: rosberg 10th, alonso 11th

My insight didn't help there (being modest huh?)
It was enough that Timo Glock lost his grip (and then his wheel) in the corner, and whole race was ruined

blah blah

EDIT: I forgot, thanks for the picks mate

You are all welcome, Personally i stayed with Olympiakos, the 2 draws was a shock, perhaps both teams had keys missing, i can't read Lithuanian so who knows, Bayern were certainly effected by the surprizingly huge Dortmund crowd, but on a whole, not a bad day with 6 out of 9. Time for work study, back soon.

Singapore.

Poor odds take em or leave em, A full strength SAF bar 1 travle to Young Lions, a team of kids, Away win.

Friendly, Irrespective of venue.

Panathonikos are i think at home but wherever, they will find little competition from Charleroi, Home win.

Friendly.

Scotlands Hibernians greet a full squad of Barcelona on tour, Away win.

Ireland.

Dundalk are without 2 keys but still reprisent value against Monaghan who have failed to take a single point here in 3 years. Home win.

Finland.

Oulu have the Gap of 64 over TP-47, Home win.

Been a long time since I've written on this site, I think all you guys are doing an excellent job. In particular ENGLISH, I'm sure we'd all agree the gap theory has been very effective. For me personally I am trying to be more disciplined in my betting and have been successful as of late.

Now then, on to business, Nottingham Forest v Everton tomorrow.

There is going to be a very good crowd for a friendly at Nottingham's City Ground, including myself. Cole, Earnshaw and new signing Guy Moussi are definitely going to play some part. Moussi has impressed thus far I must say. Forest have been scoring freely in their friendlies so far but Everton will be a huge test and are favourites to win, however they have yet to impress me in their friendlies but they ARE just friendlies.

Forest have one of the paciest teams around at the minute and I think they can definitely get behind the Everton defence. On the other hand Forest's defence is also solid but as mentioned rarely tested. For Everton, I'm unsure to their line-up but it seems Lescott and Jagielka will pair up in the middle of defence and I just fancy Forest's pace to test them. In addition Forest are probably sharper fitness-wise.

As a Forest fan I'm going to put £10 on Forest draw no bet @ 2.75, fair odds I think.

Finally, there are better games coming up in the next few days so you may be wise to save your time, money and skill looking at them instead of what could be percieved as a gamble on Forest. I'll be keeping a close eye on Dynamo Kiev in the land of my ancestors, whom I believe can beat Dnipro, Palmeiras in Brasil (good odds v Santos 1.8 at bet365) and CFR Cluj in Romania on Sunday.

All the best people!!!

A cracking post from Pavlo Poliak, lets hope he continues to contribute when the season proper kicks off.
If you have not won over the last few weeks from this thread, then i suggest you change your betting stratagy or quit.

Today i will. have a pop at Forest. and Ukranes, Dynamo Kiev who incidently whacked DD 0-4 last time out.

Ireland.

Bohemians, just one squad player out will see off UCD who have around 6 keys out, Home win.

Limerick 27, have taken on 16 new players since june and are heading upwards, Wexford have a stiff task here and look at damage controle, Home win.

Waterford, with no recent losses are being dogged by draws, a close game here with Longford but i give one goal home advantage, Home win.

Hungary, MTK visit Kapa Rakoczi, An MTK full 11 is the team to beat, judging by last seasons stats, a win for them will set us up nicely.

A couple of second string games, were u/s last night, it may be different today, Early Singapore kick off, Geylang have six key players missing but still remain fav's against Dilian Shide who play crap at the best of times, Away win. On TV, Austrias Lask host Karnten, its far to early for stats so this one is a gamble, for us armchair pundits Home win.
