Mornin lads, quick post the day as am gettin stuff ready for holiday and the bird is giving me grief!
St.Mirren v Rangers : Should be points in the bag with the whole league seperating these two. Odds are 1.40 and i will be backing the Gers heavily here. Dundee Utd v Caley Thistle : The Tangerines fighting for their 4th win in a row in all competitions here, manager Levein will be hoping Kenneth makes a comeback from his knee injury. ICT have a full squad and will be tough opponents, defending and hoping to nick a late winner as they did last time these 2 met. I fancy the constantly improving United to win this. Far from easy, but at 1.90 i'm backing Leveins men Stenhousemuir v Forfar : Getting odds of about 1.95 for this one, and am snapping it up for the home win. Stenhousemuir are unbeaten this season and all four previous meetings of the two teams has been a Stenhousemuir victory. They're scoring freely (15 in 8) and defending solidly (conceeding only 5 in 8 games). In short, although Forfar are doing quite well themselves, Stenhousemuir should be winning this. Best of luck lads, am off to watch SoccerAM and try to ignore the missus! Danny |

A good post from Danny, Remember he got 100% last week.
Barnsley are and will continue to reel after the loss of Mascot, Howard, too Shef Utd. A derby game today with Doncastor will see no changes in the starting line ups from last week but their will be tactical adjustments to both sides. Barnsley with backs to the wall are playing poorly and I am sure will continue in that vein. Doncastor, though not capitalizing on goal chances are in general playing well; it’s just a matter of time before things start going their way, they control the ball well, keep the ball down and dominate the midfield, A good day for a Doncastor win. |

Yes Danny, a lasp gasp equalizer, but a good Dundee Utd result and a solid pick for Rangers. What goes around comes around, as Aris Selonika score in injury time. Enjoy your hols.

A very good day for me yesterday, thanks to everyone, I will take my wife on holiday in October.
Westham have Ashton, S, dYER, m, Gabbidon, D, all out, Zola will be tested today as for the first time the season Bolton have a full squad. Away win. Chelsea, without Drogba, Essien, Deco, Carvalho and late tests on Anelka and Joe Cole, Villa will put a big question to Chelsea and get a point. Pompey players are tired and to me are going to face another tough game against Stoke, who are looking for their first away win. X2. Caguari with a full squad are lacking in talent, you may think they have a chance against Milan who have Insaghi, S, Boriello, S, Pirlo, M, and defenders Nesta, Favalli, Kaladze, Senderos all out. You will probably recognise every player lined up for Milan today but non of Caguari. Away win. Genoa, strong at home should see of Napoli. Sevilla, Without Fabiano, S, Mosquera, D, Still have the players to beat a full Bilbao squad. Home win. Mallorca, second choice Goalie Lux is out, are playing well and will see off a Sporting side who cant win. Problems at the back for Valladolid with defenders Calvo, Alexis, Bea and midfielder Jesus all out. Valencia, Merchena, D, Albial, M, are missing, not a prayer for the home side. Real Madrid v Espanol, A local derby with no player changes from last week. A home win probable, over 2.5 more probable. Have a good day. |

Real Madrid - Espanol Barcelona is not a local derby. But yes, over 2.5 is the most probable. I take it too.

Its hard to compete with Pavliks thread, pick of the day. A good idea, similar to Shakeel Banker thread, but without the pressure. It also helps us all to pull together. After such a good weekend, i feel confident in the boys to give more wins than losers. I am not re-posting all the games mentioned nor am i going against any as every postee has a reason to post his/her top pick. I obviously feel more confident in some, more than others.
Tranmere v Crewe, Home win. Mainz v Wehen, Home win. Luzern v Zurich, Over 2.5. Wexford v Limerick, Away win. Strasbourge v Nimes, Home win. Guimares v Braga, Home win. Lexios v Benfica, Away win. Gotenburg v Hammarby, Home win. Ostrava v Liberec, Home win. I expect no losses. |
