From The Netherlands

RKC v Go Ahead Eagles, RKC is very strong in home games, in their last 10 home games they have scored 28 goals and conceded 8, losing only 1 game vs champions Volendam.
Go Ahead Eagles recently surprised with the signing of Marc Overmars, a big name but this veteran won't be able to cover up GAE's poor away record, in their last 10 away games they scored 11 goals and conceded 25. Last season RKC won this game 7-2. Pick RKC @ 1.50

Recommended bookmakers
Any serious punter should have accounts with as many bookmakers as possible. Some books don't cover all the games, others offer better odds, in-play betting... All following sportbooks I am using every day and I can recommend them all.

Default Match 2.

Pavlo, Sawyer was brought in to cover the void left by McCormack, The managers comments, to whit i have considered, are positive toward the Loanee, but i feel the bosses comments are more aimed at his side, to bolster confidence after learning their mascot is out for weeks to come. A point of fact to consider re loaned players, is that, the parent clubs can and do recall them on 12 hours notice, for whatever reason. I of course breed caution at this time of season and the odds availiable allow small bets. I stand firm with Brighton, You could go for scorers, Forster, Murrey, Revell.

Birmingham v Barnsley.

The depth and quality at Brum has been maintained since demotion, in fact the squad is stronger. Its beyond me as to why West Brom sold Kevin Philips as i think he is the best poacher in England, he has already nicked 2 goals for Birmingham and one of them was the match winner. McFadden will return from national duty for saturday, making what appears a full and able squad, Key players were rested last week in the 4-0 over Wycombe.
Barnsley's no 1 player Howard is on form and has benifited fron new man striker Hume playing along side, but not today as Hume having scored already is banned also on a ban is key defender Van Homoet he should be on a 3 match ban, maybe not, but his foul last time out was bad. Brum must not lose at home or they will not return to the premiership this season, to which i think they will, Home win. Scorers, Philips, McFadden, Howard.

Default Match 3.

Please note, I am changing from one league to another, at the drop of a hat but I will put things in order in a summery. I am reluctant to go into the conference as web sites are in general poor and out dated.

Rotherham v Chester.

Rotherham were handed down a 17 point penalty thru poor management but this has not reflected on the field of play, they have taken max points in 2 games and have also knock Shef Utd out of the League cup. Only one key player has moved on but some shrewd work by the scout has brought in able replacements, hence the 6 match winning run, as started in April. Defender Joseph returns from a ban, leaving just striker Newsham and defender Brogan on the sick. I see no reason to make any reservations regarding the missing players, as they have not been featuring of late. Poor old Chester have shipped 13 goals in 3 outings and are going for the record of the amount conceded over a season, well expect Rotherham to help them. Home win.

Default Match 4. Going strong.

Oldham v Cheltenham.

The only movement of players of note is the signing of striker O’Grady from Rotherham, this guy does score but will not be missed at Rothers, I have rated him at 13 points. The main focus at Oldham has been on current players and how to get the best out of them, the club is now at a stage when very good players can not even get on the bench. Last season saw a poor start which stymied the chance of promotion, this season is different, Coming from behind to beat Millwall 4-3, then traveling too Leeds and destroying any credibility Leeds may have had, sees them return home this weekend to euphoric and capacity crowd. One player out is striker Davies at least he should be out for head butting or in prison, his absence did not effect play last week as striker Tailor filled his boots very well, scoring 2 and a 3rd disallowed. Cheltenham have had problems and have had a mixed start to the season, leaving it so late to get loaned players in. A result at home last week 2-0 against Swindon, with loaners on a debut both scoring, one of them, defender Gill is out after getting his marching orders soon after he scored. A big loss for this away side was seeing the forced sale of top gun and mascot Gillespie followed by the no 2 Brooker. Home win.

Default Match 5. Premiership follows.

Leyton v Carlisle.

Leyton do have strength up front with top scorer of last season Boyd already on the score sheet, the problem here is in Defense. The boss was hopeful that the potential shown by the young talent would see him thru, but as top defenders Mkandawire and Thirwell have been nagged by knocks, his reliance on the young men has been noticed and his confidence in them has waned. Both the experienced defenders may well feature in this match, but I can assure you Carlisle will target their positions in search of the golden egg. Carlisle, striker Garner was lambasted by injury last season and became a liability, which is a shame, as whenever he played he generally scored, well he is sold, In his shoes, step Graham and Carlton, both on the score sheet. Goals are liable to come from all over as every Cars player except the goalies, were on the score sheet last season. Midfielder’s Hackney and Wilkinson are the main archery in this club and I would expect every opponent to concede goals whenever these two play. Away win.

Brilliant analysis thus far, my thinking matches what you have written.

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say thanks for your continued devotion to posting on this site, quality stuff!

Keep up the good work!

p.s. I've got a gut feeling Sunderland can manage a draw at least v Tottenham and odds for Sunderland or Draw are 2.5!!! Just waiting to see if Cisse will play. Am i mad????

Kind words, Paul, Thanks, and no, you are not mad. Sunderland have and are spending lots of money, of which keene did not want last season, this time round, however he feels he can make inroads into the upper echelon of this Div and Europe. I think spurs are still unsettled and are vulnurable, a home win here is on the cards.

Alright guys, I'm a Sunderland supporter myself and I know my opinion is slightly bias but I think that a draw is definitely a possibility in this game! I know our away record isn't the best at all but I still think with the new faces Keano has brought in we stand a chance! As you well know Sunderland will fight and fight to make up for the lack of still/talent! Even the bookies must have seen a change as Sunderland were 7/1 earlier this week and those odds have now dropped to 4/1! I will for sure be putting a little bet on Sunderland as some money on the games you have mentioned above!

Yeah, Sunderland for a small stake double chance for me. It seems Cisse and Healy'll be in the squad for sure. Also 3 players returning to their former employers hoping to prove themselves (though they'd prob deny that), especially Malbranque, of whom I'm a fan and as you mention ENGLISH, Spurs do seem unsettled. It is still early in the season and hard to judge teams but expected much better from Spurs last weekend, they definitely miss Keane and I'm assuming Berbatov is just about a Man Utd player. Should be a great game!!
