just one advise : when playing Carling Cup and LDV cup bear in mind that lower division teams are playing in full team while upper division rest some players. I do not bet on cup's games but if I try to do it will be asian handicap for lower division team. Watch it and we can talk about it tomorow. Let's just see today events. I will count the teams. Just an advise!

Recommended bookmakers
Any serious punter should have accounts with as many bookmakers as possible. Some books don't cover all the games, others offer better odds, in-play betting... All following sportbooks I am using every day and I can recommend them all.

I agree to a point, but, whenever possible I've been looking at likely starting line-ups and general attitude from managers in cup games. It's still early in seaon and a lot of managers see these games as confidence boosters and an increase in fitness/match practise. Obviously I'm aware of upsets always being possible but, well I'm here to make money and saw good value in the games I've mentioned.

Finally, sorry to keep using your thread ENGLISH, I should start my own I think. Hope the hangover's cleared and look forward to your future comments as always!

Paul.

Well Ivan you were mostly right, but I'm still looking good from previous weekend and look forward to tomorrow's games. I took a risk on Wolves finishing 1-1 so won back some money there by way of in-play betting.

I hope you were successful if you did choose any games this evening and will be interested to read your comments next time round.

Always live to fight another day....

Imin, i get alot of job satisfaction from people thanking me for my endeavour.
Breaking even, as today, does not put bread on my table, so i will be expecting a result in the early hours from Brazil.

Vila Nova, 26-21+10+25=40. Brasiliense, 19-31-11-4=-27, Gap 67, Home win.

I too went with Vila Nova and Santo Andre.... RESULT! Always seem to do well with Brazil 2nd div.

Are you still convinced Arsenal will definitely win? I'm still sure they will but my confidence has waivered somewhat since reading that several key players are missing through injury. It seems tonight Arsenal will be very much a youthful team and I'm concerned they might get out-muscled. How much do we know about Twente?

I'm definitely backing Liverpool AH -1, the probable line-up will include Alonso, Benayoun, Keane and Torres..... oozes technical flair and quality. Gerrard trained last night and could still make it, which would be a bonus but I'm sure they won't miss him if he is sidelined.

It's early in the day yet so still looking at other games, anything look of value to you thus far?

Back later....

I did not bet on any cup game. But as you see there were some "strange" results. My point was that it is better to find games in regular season according to team form and past results as English does than to rely on one game match as are usualy cup games. I appriciate your late results. GL!

If you think Arsenal will miss some keyplayers.....Twente is without the 3 most important players that reached Champions League qualifiers.

Striker N'Kufo is suspended for 3 matches due to his red card in the Uefa Cup last year vs. Getafe.

Midfielders Engelaar and El Ahmadi are sold to Schalke and Feyenoord.

They are replaced by Tioté and Janssen from Anderlecht and Vitesse. Good replacements for the domestic league but not for the European Cups.

They have defender Rajkovic on loan from Chelsea (last year PSV loaned him) but he's away with Serbia olympic team.

Away win

As you surely expected the Brazil games were fruitfull.

XP, i do not wish to dampen your enthusiasmn (can't spell) but Tav v Morava do not get past Gap 1. The cup games is anyones guess, you must ckeck later to see who plays, Birmingham are on my mind, if they present the same line up as the weekend they will be good value.

Singapore.
With SAF drawing yesterday and having 2 players sent off, will give Tampines and Home United hope of closing the void at the table top, Home are the stronger team and i will not be adjusting their Gap advantage of 34. Away win.

Sweden.
Vasby, 27-23+3+22=29. Landscrona, 24-26-3-3=-9, Gap 38, Home win.

Peru.
Cesar Vallejo v Alianza Lima, Gap 33, Home win.
San Martin v Cienciano, Gap 76, Home win.
Jose Galvez v Minero, Gap 51, Home win.

Champions League.

To proceed to the next round each club will recieve in excess of 10,000,000,
Arsenal, Liverpool, Olimpiakos, Marselle, will without doubt field as strong a side as possible and will aim to return home with big advantages.

Twente, tho have secured the failed England coach have lost the player that steared them into the current position, to a bigger club, they have not replaced him, i have no qualms at giving Arsenal, but i do have a lot riding on them and Liverpool, So much so, that i will edge my bets with live inplay betting as needed.
