Dundalk ,29-12+8+2+38=65. Athlone, 10-23-8+4+37=20----Gap 45----Home win.

Dundalk are without regular defenders, Whelehan and Grimes but see top defender Flannagan return, along with the skipper Lynch, in midfield and ace midfield playmaker Cassidy, a couple of poor results of late but the return of the above players will change things to the good. These 2 have played twice already this season with Dundalk winning 3-0 and 2-1, I see no change in the result here, Athlone are currently building their web site so I have no team news, even with a full squad they will be hard pressed to overturn the Gap advantage of Dundalk, Home win.
The odds went to 1.33 over night, they may improve, but I doubt it. I suggest you use your imagination with your betting. I am hoping for some decent odds tomorrow as I have 3 pearlers lined up.

Cork, Drogheda, Shamrock all hold the gap advantage and will all win tonight. i will try doing full commentaries, but i have a stinker of a hangover, so may rest today. I have noticed in singapore Woodlands Wellington are outsiders against the Tobacco monopoly, dont get suckered in, if you are betting, take the away win, otherwise leave it alone.

Cork, 27-13+8+22+76=110. Galway, 11-26-7-9+0=-31.------Gap 141 Home win.

Cork go into this in fine fettle and with a full squad, the reverse fixture 3-1 to Cork. There is nothing for Galway here as it has been over the season 2 midfielders Foley, McCollock and defender Keane are out. I see no point in adjusting the Gap.

Drogheda, 19-11+2+1+39-10=40. UCD, 11-19-3-7+25-3=4.-----Gap 36 Home win.

Drogheda striker Barrett is out and top scorer Zayed is a doubt so I have made a deduction for him, Midfield Baker and defender Shelley are out, along with a couple of long termers. Drog have been missing plenty of chances up front as the strikers are lacking in talent but tonight new man on the block and talented, will be striker Kuduzovic, the manager thinks a new page in the clubs history will be turned. The students UCD Have defender Kenna out with talented winger Fitzgerald who will be missed. The earlier fixture went to Drog 3-1 and it will be the same here or near abouts.

Shamrock, 15-14+2+13+19=35. Cobh, 8-28-13-18+7=-44.------Gap 75 Home win. No deductions.

The Singapore game was 13.45 a draw 1-1.

Sligo, 20-16+7-1+15-10=15, Derry, 20-13+4+19+59-0=89.------Gap 74---- Away win.

Sligo top scorer is sold to Drogheda, 10 point deduction, apart from that they have a full squad, the same team that beat Cobh 3-0 last week will feature today. The last time out these 2 failed to score 0-0 but Derry have seen improvement, they visit with a full squad and are looking to maintain pressure at the top of the table.

Longford, 20-15+7+8+46=61. Wexford, 13-26-9-9+0=-31-----Gap 92----Home win.

Longford have unloaded the dead wood and brought in 4 new players, who are likely to start today, this home side have had ups and downs but have beaten the best this league have to offer, that same form will show here. Wexford are doing ok in the cup but are suffering at league level, one player missing, midfielder Kelly. I hope this one has good odds as I am looking at a good bet.

Shamrock played below par, perhaps if I had all the info I required I would have dropped them. I will take a look at the Aussi leagues next week, perhaps with a full Gap we might get a shout.

Ireland is my focus today, I have team news on a couple of matches but am waiting on a few more, I will post as and when.

Shelbourne v Limerick, Gap 55, Home win.

Shels have just one player missing suspended, they will expect to stamp their mark on this game early on, but will be aware of three new players for the visitors, This game will be over rather quick as the home side will not allow Limerick to settle and see what the new boys can do.

Galway v Sligo, Gap 26, Away win.

Like rats leaving a sinking ship, the cream of the Gals are moving on, as they see no future with a club that has cut its own throat. Sligo, having sold their top striker are making do, they were a tad unlucky with Derry last time, it was Derries dogged defenders that saved them, Sligo will play the same game tonight and start with 3 points in mind.

A friendly, York v Leeds? Leeds are not friends with anyone. Away win.

Cratias, Hadjuk split v Italy's Napoli. If you can take the Gap seriously in this type of game, then watch this game on TV, The croats have the Gap of 64.

Derry v Bray, Gap 34, Home win.
Derry come late more often than not, but will take advantage of Brays no 2 goalie, Derry have 2 players adrift midfielder Morrison and defender Gray, these players are not key. Bray have 3 key players out, no1 goalie, midfield Tresson, striker Whelan, A stiff task awaits the away side. If you are looking for a yankee, Derry is your 4th choice, if not a yankee, drop them.

Finn Harps v Cork, Gap 61, Away win.

1999 was the last time Harps registered a league win against Cork, that trend will continue. Harps defence is non existant with defenders, Boyal, Malcolm, Minnick, Labonte, Becket, Gallaghar all out. Cork have a full squad and include the league top striker/scorer, Mooney who has scored 2 goals in each of the last 5 outings.

Dundalk, Waterford, Fingal are all likely winners with high Gaps but all have weakend squads, worth a small Gamble, at least.

Default Update.

York v Leeds, Brentford v Ipswich.

Leeds and Ipswich are favs and are drawing attention, they are of coarse worth a gamble, but be aware, winning is not on the managers agenda, he is looking at performance, as with all the other friendly games. Both the away sides tonight will not only play new players they will also rotate the entire squads of 22. X2 is a bet, Away wins = Gamble.
