Cagliari - Juventus
Juve are coming back from a great 2nd league season and now have something to prove. They have scored 13 times in their last 4 games (cups and friendlies included). Intresting to see that of their last 8 meetings there have been 2 wins each and 4 draws with minimal goals in each match. But this season is very different. Its very important for big teams such as Juve to take advantage at the start of the season as big games are ahead of them. This should be an all Juventus match.

Hamburger SV - FC Bayern Munich
I'm yet to see a team that will be a big threat to Bayern this season. Its a big shame they aren't playing in the CHL this season. So lifting the domestic league trophy is a must and sure bet on them! In order to do so they have to win big games like this and in my opinion Hamburg aren't showing much of a great football.

UD Almeria - Valencia
New comers Almeria started off very well in the spanish league winning away to Deportivo 0:3. On the other side Valencia lost to Villareal at home with the same result. This doesnt worry me. More reasons than one. Deportivo isn't the team it used to be, so a victory for Almeria isn't that much of a surprise. Valencia played without some key players who should be on pitch tommorow and had a UEFA cup match 3 days later, so their heads were more focused on that. And Villareal is a team to respect. Valencia have to get win in order to forget that loss wich will cost them in the long run.

Atletico Madrid - Mallorca
Atletico Madrid the very much favourite here in my eyes. Very much in form and very strong. They have played more matches before the start of the season that were competitive. Mallorca have only played friendly matches. Last weeks match against Real, Atletico were unlucky not to get at least a draw but, this match they can show their stuff in front of their home fans.
