Strasbourg - Lorient

This is the best beginning of the season for Strasourg since 1979. Their home record - 2 wins, 1 draw. In the game against Lorient they will play without their captain G. Lacour who was sent off in St. Etienne. But Abou can easily play the right defender as he did in the game against Auxerre and got 8/10 as a mark for is game. All the other leaders of Strasbourg are fit for the game.

On the other side Lorient will definitely miss their best striker Vahirua who got injured during a training session. Lorient got a great beginning of the season but wednesday they lost at home against Valenciennes 1-3. The result which shows that they are not as strong as people could think 3 weeks ago after they beat Lyon.

Lyon - Le Mans

Lyon finally found their form with 2 victories in a row. No one has doubts about the skill of their players. le Mans who was called the biggest surprise of the beginning of the season isn't permorming very well right now. they got 2 defeats in a row and they just sold one of their main strikers Grafite to Wolfsburg.

My pick Lyon to win at 1.4

Valenciennes - Metz

Valenciennes are currently in the leading group, they had 2 victories in a row with the score 3-1. They have no major injuries or suspensions. Metz are still loking for their first victory. And i don't think they will find it in Valeciennes.

My pick home win at 1.57

The combo of these 3 games gives the coefficient of 3.55

P.S. there are some other interesting gmes but I suggest not to bet on them, 'cause the French league is too unpredictable this year

Lyon - Le Mans

9th placed Lyon will have a chance tonight to extend their winning row against 8th Le Mans. Lyon started this season far from expectations and after few rounds they were near bottom. Last few matches suggest they are improving form. In the midweek , Lyon made their first away win this season against Sochaux 1:2 and that could be nice overture for tonight match. Bad results at the beginning of the competition are mostly caused by great number of injured players. For Lyon, Cris, Coupet, Ben Arfa and Fred are still out while Juninho is doubtful .


Their oponents today, Le Mans, strted this sesaon in great manner winning first three games in competition. But after that they drew with Lille and lost to Monaco and in the midweek aginst PSG. Certainly it must have some impact on players morale. It looks they have lot of problems in defence and that could be used by Lyon attackers. Le Mans is team with abilities to stay this season in league 1, but IMO their current position is a bit to high. Le Mans is without Samassa and Paulo Andre, also compared to beginning of the season they are without striker Grafite who will play for Wolfsburg from now on.


Like I said I think Lyon will extend their winning strike , so Lyon to win could be a banker bet for tonight. My pick Lyon AHC -1 pays bit more, 1.85 @ gamebookers.
