New York Rangers – New York Islanders
The Islanders won the two games so far between these two teams by 3-2 and 2-1 and today its time to Rangers revenge.
Rangers is playing good hockey lately and is 9-1-0 in the last 10 games, winning 5 games in a row and in these 5 games, four of them were at road. It’s true three of this wins are in SO or OT, but they count as a win. Rangers are playing good, are efficient and playing good hockey.
Islanders is 7-3-0 in the last 10 games, they are currently in a 4 games on road, playing today that last game on road. In the previous 4 games they have scored 2 or fewer s and come from a win at the Devils after two losses at road. Islanders is a team that never give up of the game and fights all 60 minutes of the game to get a good result, but we think that the Rangers are simply to strong to Islanders at this time.
This is a derby game from New York, but Rangers has better material and team, they are very strong at home and playing with the town rival they want a win at any costs.
