Ferrer v Roddick
Hard game this one. The winner take place in the final of the champions. What best way to finish the year with a finale here. Roddick improve his play, with great shot, he learn how to play in importance moments and great on the rally. Ferrer play just great, is all the court with great winners from the ground, come to the net every time and improve a lot on his serve. He start the match slower, but when he is warm up .... he's unstopable. His style of play always make the opponent to play another shot by another and that's take to the unforced errors from the opponent. He know how to play with big server, he beat players like: Karlovic, Isner, Berdych, Roddick so the advantage of Roddick on serve isn't enought to stop the spaniard. Ferrer is more mentaly strong than Roddick, even he lose a set Ferrer play to the final ball, but Roddick if he feel that his game isn't work like he want made mistake after mistake. Another plus on Ferrer play is slice and I think is the principale weapon here, because the ball doesn't bounce and you have to strike from a lower position than usual and Roddick made a lot of unforced errors and is all know that the spaniards know how to play with slice. On top spin I think the both player have a similar style, they produce winners after winners. Even that Roddick improve a lot on his play is hard to learn a player that always based on his serve to play a variety of strokes and Ferrer cover the court more rapidly than Roddick and seems to me more agresive. I think that Ferrer here can cover the handicap too, even is a match with so importance with two great players. Take 1, odds 1.50
That's all folks.
