So with all the crazy goings-on in the eastern conference (penguins OUT, capitals OUT!) the west is going according to the regular season seedings SHARKS(1st seed) v BLACKHAWKS (2nd seed). Both teams have played well in the playoffs particularly the sharks who are an impressive 8-3 and the blackhawks closely behind 8-4! This is going to be another tight series the sharks are slight favourites but this us due to the home ice advatage. One thing is for certain there won't be a shortage if goals the sharks average 2.55 goals a game and blackhawks 2.4 so look for the first few games to go OVER before coaches start consentrating on defense. One big advantage the sharks have is there net-minder nabakov who has numerours games/seasons in the playoffs (76 playoffs games to be precise) compare this with chicagos niemi (12 playoff games) then you think the blackhawks are going to have to control the puck and the % of territory. However they have the weapons to do it in kane and towes 2 of the best young players in the league.
It's a difficult one to call alot will depend on the first 2 games and wether the blackhawks can to back to Chicago with at least 1 win in San jose. However I'm going to go with experience on this one the sharks are a very experienced team Blake, marleau, etc and with nabakov on fire this post-season I'm going to take the sharks in 7games (going to go all the way).
