3:1...wow, who would have thought....Actually, there's a funny part to this story, yesterday I ask my father, he's no gambler, we just like to talk football from time to time, and I ask him, what do think about Inter - Barca...guess what he said... " 3:0"....Needless to say I laughed at that score line, but as we all know, at the end of the day, he got the last laugh..
And all credit to Inter, the played a heck of a game closing down Messi very well, and breaking down any sort of attack from the middle.
Unfortunately my father didn't have a comment for me when I eagerly asked him about tonight's game :)

Like Barcelona, Lyon will have to make the same trip to their rival city by Bus. Not 1000 km like Barca had but never the less, 700km of a boring bus drive. Thats around 6 hours of drive. I don't think this will impact the game as much as last night's did. What will impact the game is a little tradition and Bayern's revived form. Just when you thought they couldn't do any better, Bayern thrash Hannover 7:0! This just shows the professionalism in these players after their big win at Manchester. Most teams would still be living of that result and even lose their next domestic game.
The odds here are favoring Bayern @ 1.66, and I can't blame them. Although they do seem to write off Lyon a bit and Lyon definitely isn't the side to underestimate. Maybe a little unfair from the bookies side but I'll take it.
In the News:
Olympique Lyonnais's progress past two former European champions this term means FC Bayern München will be on their guard when they tackle the French club in their semi-final opener.
FC Bayern München have been urged to look no further than Olympique Lyonnais's exploits in eliminating two of Europe's most successful clubs this season as evidence that the French club provide a genuine threat to their hopes of reaching the UEFA Champions League final. The warning came from Louis van Gaal's assistant, Andries Jonker, who was deputising for the Bayern coach while he attended a family funeral. Claude Puel, meanwhile, made light of his team's journey by road to Bavaria for Wednesday's semi-final opener, and knows "anything is possible" once the serious business begins.
And this is the sort of thing I like to hear. Bayern are very aware of who's coming to visit, how they got to where they are and what their plans are. Thus, hopefully we should see ze Germans in their traditional 100minutes of serious football!

My first bet is Bayern, but I think there are a few more nice bets lurking in this game. One of which is Robben to score at any time. The guy is on fire and has scored 16 times in his previous 18 games. Another one to consider is Olic, he has showed character and determination in the previous few games. I'm not sure if we will see a fast pace game right from the start, and as far as the under/over is concerned well...you all saw what happened last night. It's a 50-50 on goals, I would bet how ever on more goals second half. Both teams might come out a bit tight, and that's what I'm hoping for, and even if half time ends with a goal for either side, I'm sure 2 can easily follow in the next half. Either half draw!? You bet! More than last night's game I'm keen on this bet. And thus...we have our predictions for tonight...
Pick 1: Bayern to win
Pick 2: More goals second half
Pick 3: Robben to score any time
Pick 4: First goal Bayern
Pick 5: Draw either half
Pick 6: Over
Value picks:
Pick 1: HT/FT Bayern/Bayern
Pick 2: Ivica Olic to score first and Bayern to win 2:0
Pick 3: Correct score 2:0
