The only comp within English League Football worth chancing all for is. The FA Cup. All teams have the chance of making lots of Dosh and being included in the champions league stats. The likes of Man Utd will not be playing a reserve team against Coventry or any other team. This Thread will continue untill Wembly. Enjoy it, Keep it clean. And any information that you think could be relevent may be the difference between winning and losing. The team i will be following closely over the next couple of weeks are. Notts Forest. Swansea. Carlisle. Bury. Rotherham. Hartlepool. Dagenham. Stockport. All fall into the same catagory as Man U. I will be looking for the best value and will post my findings in good time.

Westham on tv tonight. Im having a bet just to make watching this game bearable. Coventry should be without Defenders Hawkins, Burrowdale. Midfielder Hughs and maybe Striker Mckenzie. Westhams Curbbishley see's no silverware on the horizon exept this one. He's hoping the bigger boys will drop out this week. But thats not likely. Ashton. Zamora. Bellamy. Solano. Camara. All out. The hopes are riding on Cole to work the magic up front. Away win.

Add Faubert,Dyer and Parker to the list of missing stars for the Hammers but i still think they should have enough to see off a poor Coventry side

A last gasp win for West Ham.
From what i have seen this morning all the fancied sides are looking forward to the Quarter finals. Pompey look set to have Kanu back up front. Blackburn suffered thier only home defeat this term at the hands of Pompey, Are without atleast Savage. Pompey will have a huge crowd so dare not slip up.
Bolton go without Anelka which will be a blow for the fans. Man City will want to make up for the 6 - 0 and will want to pass that scoreline on to Moise.
Fowler returns to Liverpool, With Cardif. Crouche and Kewell should shine.
Wenger is taking alot of Talent with him Silva and Edwardo play for sure, Maybe Wilcott.
Wright-Philips will have his chance to prove his worth as Chelsea stroll into the next round.
The first game for Spurs under new gaffers. Watch out Blackpool, Here it comes.
Everton are also looking for some silver are good value at 1.6.

Blackburn are without midfield Savage, Ried. Striker Roberts are at least hopefull. Pompey's Harry Redknapp has stated he wants europe and will play his strongest players inc Kanu. He is expecting to win.

Arsenal are playing a young team. But with International players included.
Spurs play Robbinson and Jenas.
Chelsea have 2 first teams.
Liverpool play Crouche and other fringe players.
In general i can't see any non premiership team going into the next round.
Pompey and Man City obviously have tough games, But i will have a few bob on them.

This round of FA Cup looks cut n dry. I am only looking at home wins as i feel the non-league pitches could be in a bad state, Thus the fancied teams may have a problem. Dont expect much in the way of value, You will have to look at stringing 4 or 5 games together. I will post my picks soonest.

I am looking at Mansfield v Lewes. Bury v Worthington. Notts County v Histon, Peterboro v Wrexham. And the outsider, If you like, Barnet v Gillingham.

How could i miss the FA opener tonight on TV. Leeds go to Hereford in what i expect to be a cracking game. Leeds without the 15 penalty points would be plain sailing in Div 1, While Hereford are trying to stay in contention for second spot of Div 2. I still need to see the leeds team before i give the thumbs up.
Add Notts Forest to the list, If they take a full Squad too Lincoln i will consider them a banker.

Notts Forest, Notts County, Peterboro, Bury, Are all weary of being complacent, Which is a clear indication of intent. All wins.
Barnet are undecided as to wheather or not to play Yakubu, Who in my opinion is a match winner, Verdict tomorrow.
I expect two upsets tomorrow Mansfield to lose against Lewes. And Altriching to beat suffering Millwall.

Notts Forest scored both goals.
Rotherham will look at greener pastures after see'ing off Forest green on thier own turf tomorrow. Take Rothers at around 2.3 for an away win.
Its a pitty i did not know for sure Yakubu was playing for Barnet 2-1. He scored the winner.

Hi, i'm a huge Nottingham Forest fan and was frustrated at the draw on Saturday, Lincoln impressed slightly but Forest really deserved win. As well as the freak own goal we also hit the woodwork twice and Lincoln's keeper made 2 superb saves during the game. Look out for the return leg at the mighty City Ground where i predict Forest WILL win by at least 2 goals so long as there are no huge injuries in the squad. With regards to tomorrow i whole-heartedly agree with ENGLISH that the four teams mentioned should win, so i'm placing large stakes on at least 3 out of 4 to win. Good luck people!

Swansea almost bar one have a full squad for tonight and judging by thier previous cup games the best team availiable will be playing. Not much news on the Yeovil team but they are struggling at the moment and i don't see any improvment, Especially here. Swansea home win.
If i finnish the games i've comitted to early enough i might look at Leeds and MK Dons. I will probably leave Brighton till tomorrow.

Carlisle will field the same team that beat Leeds and drew last week with Grimsby. They are strong in all areas. The strong back line will be well aware of Stockports front men. Stockport are short on first team players in the midfield and defence the eight missing are five mid and three backs, Stockport may grab a goal but not the three points. Carlisle home win.

Normally I would pick Leeds but I red that in this trophy you have to play with at least 6 regulars. Will Leeds field a strong 11 tonight?

I will come to Leeds for you, a bit later.
Hartlepool are not doing to well in the league, But the Cup games are alot different. 17 Goals scored and 5 conceded. The same team will play as they did against Gainsboro 6-0 with no Injuries to worry about the pools will make short work of Morecambe who are stepping up a league without Skippers Bentley's influence. Hartlepool home win.
Pavlo Poliak
11-13-2007, 03:10 PM
Hartlepool for sure....... well i hope anyway if they win along with Swansea and Carlisle I stand to win just over £600 following a combo i'v had running through since Friday. God i LOVE football. Wish me luck and also to yourselves!

I think you are on a winner.
Wise is resting players He will play the same as at Hereford exept midfielder Da costa. Strikers Constantine, Devries will all start. Bury will play the best they have,But stepping up and in front of 15000 Leeds supporters should see them lose this to a late flurry of goals.
ENGLISH
11-13-2007, 04:15 PM
Bournmouth are without Skipper Anderton and No 1 Striker Bradbury. They have so many unavailiable players, We could see 43 year old assistant coach on the bench. Paul ince is rotating his squad which to me is detrimental, But the pressure is off tonight so this could be the upset. MK Dons away win.
Holders Doncastor have some injuries but not enough to worry them for this trip. Grimsby look to be without top scorers and play makers Bolland and Boshell if this is the case, Doncastor will go through again. Away win.
I will summerise later.

Stockport have knocked in 7 goals in the last 3 away wins at MK Dons, Rochdale, Carlisle. I just wonder if they are taking stock of the opposing sides positive supporters and being lifted. I think they suffer at home by the negative atmosphere thrown out by thier home crowd. They scored twice last week at home but one a penalty and the other an own Hereford goal. Tonight we should see Midfield play maker Dave pool start from the off, So i am expecting some enterprising football eminating from the midfield. Stains will get a bonus in thier pay packet, With 100,000 coming from Sky TV plus a capacity crowd, Which the latter will help the away team, It would be nice to see Stains progress and get a nice big xmas present, But i think tonight they will be out played and out of the FA cup.
More to come for tomorrow.

DON'T get sucked in by the bookies, Thier is no value in Leeds. Its better for you to look at a draw or away win 8/1. Wise has made it clear he is not prepared to sacrifice players in his run to League promotion.
Other teams to throw your money away on, Are Leyton Orient and Carlisle, Again draws are on the cards. Less risk are the home return games, Brighton, 1.6. Northampton, 1.9. Rotherham, 1.55. Though Northampton might hit a brick wall in Darlington. My money should be safe on a win treble Stockport, Brighton and Rotherham, Then depending on Stockports result. Brighton, Rotherham, England, Israel. And so on.

My nieghbour again ask's another question, How do i bet.
For tonight. 100 POINTS on Stockport to win. If Win, Put 100 points back in your Bin. Play the remaining on Brighton and Rotherham Double, If win take again your stake and play the rest on England and Israel Double, And so on. If Stockport lose, God forbid. Start again. 100 points on Brighton and Rotherham Double, Etc. Ok Harry.

Stockport postponed.
Cheltenham are without 5 first team players. Striker Vincent. Midfielders Sinclair, Finnigan, Lindergaurd. Defender Townsend. No forced changes for Brighton. I expect the same result as the Paint Trophy or thier abouts 4-1 Brighton.
Rotherham will be unchanged and go into this on the back of 5 straight home league wins. Fleetwood in the main man for the unchanged Forest green. Home advantage will take effect. I have had to review my bet thanks to English weather. Brighton to win single. Brigton. Rotherham, Double.

Swansea should win this but 1.4 is of no use to me, But 8.0 for Horsham could pay.
A late bet should be made as this game is televised, Thier are late fitness checks, So wait to see who plays.
Swansea, Goalies the No1 DeVries took a bad knock last week so may not figure, The No2 Knight ie definatly out, Playmakers Boddi and Anderson also look to be unfit.
Horsham are playing very well at home have sold out of tickets, Also have a problem between the sticks No1 goalie Mansfield is banned and the No2 Seuke is trying to recover from the flu. If Seuke plays i will take the 8.0 on offer, If not Swansea will run riot. If Devries plays he may get subbed with a youngster.

I am unable to get access to Herefords team news, But believe a couple of players were rested last week at the surprize draw with Accrington in prep for this game. With the hosts impressive away win at Leeds, I can only assume they are focused again' as in the past achieved, On the forth round.
Hartlepool without play makers Liddle and Clark, Know they have a game on thier hands and will be very pleased to get a replay. With the home advantage i expect Hereford to go all out for the win.

12-02-2007, 02:11 PM
Mansfield, For the first time this season have a full squad in training though match fitness doubts are avid front men Brown and Arnold. As yet they have not won an away game, But are scoring goals. As today will prove with top scorer Boulding leading the way. You may feel the away form will continue, But Harrogate Railway has no comparison with Harrogate Town and are missing key players, All thier players are unpaid and will only get a pat on the back if they finish today 0 - 4 To Mansfield.
