Werder - Olympiakos
News:
Werder Bremen
Never change a winning team, they say, but Schaaf may well make an exception for Torsten Frings, since Werder’s anchorman is available again after a knee ligaments operation and perhaps ready for his first game since the 4-1 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich for the Liga Pokal on July 21. Goalkeeper Tim Wiese and Sanogo only have an outside chance of being ready in time for the game. That also applies to Tim Borowski’s case, as the international defensive midfielder has not played since August 11. Diego and Croatian Jurica Vranjes should play, but captain Frank Baumann, Ivan Klasnic, Aaron Hunt, Pierre Wome and Carlos Alberto remain on the sidelines.
Probable line-up (4-4-2): Wiese (Vander) – Pasanen, Mertesacker, Naldo, Tosic – Jensen, Fritz, Frings (Vranjes), Diego – Rosenberg, Almeida.
Olympiakos
Poland international defender Michal Zewlakow has fallen ill and will thus miss the trip to Werder, with Croatian international keeper Tomislav Butina the only other major absentee.
Probable line-up (4-5-1): Nikopolidis – Torosidis, Antzas, Bravo, Domi – Ledesma, Stoltidis, Djordjevic, Galletti, LuaLua – Kovacevic.
The match:
Werder scored 8 goals in their last match and showed that they will come back with their good form. This match is very important for them and the win is need more than everything. Olimpiakos is strong team and i expect hard match here. I think both teams can score and it will be good match for watching. I go here for over 2.5 goals, both teams to score, and also i give confidence in Bremen.
