Fiorentina - Roma

TEAM NEWS

Fiorentina

Fiorentina have been fortunate so far this season with injuries, and with the exception of playmaker Jorgensen and Vanden Borre, they have a full strength squad to choose from. Although they are important players, they will easily be covered by Prandelli, who will be hoping that his team can get off to a good start, thus giving them the best possible chance to account for Roma.

Roma

Along with the disappointment of conceding a goal in the final few minutes against Juventus, even more bad luck for the Giallorossi was the fact that right back Marco Cassetti picked up an injury that will see him sidelined for about a month. Cassetti has been one of Roma’s most impressive players thus far; however he too will easily be covered, as Spalletti is still undecided on whether to play Cicinho or Panucci, who is returning from injury, in Cassetti’s position.

In breaking news, Totti is struggling with an injury and is out of the game, while Perrotta is unlikely to be able to fight off a stomach bug in time. Both are set to miss the contest to ensure they are fit for the games against Inter and Manchester United.

POSSIBLIE STARTING LINE-UPS

Fiorentina (4-3-3) Frey; Ujfalusi, Dainelli, Gamberini, Pasqual; Donadel, Liverani, Montolivo; Semioli, Pazzini, Mutu

Roma (4-2-3-1) Doni; Tonetto, Juan, Mexes, Panucci; Pizarro, De Rossi; Giuly, Aquilani, Taddei; Vucinic

This is a "sit-and-watch" game between the two in-form teams at the moment. Like everybody i also expect a real show by the 2 teams with attracktive play and goals.Last year the game ended 0-0 but it was because Roma were down to 10 man in most of the game
Pick: Both teams to score, Over 2,5 goals
