Well, last night was a good night for me, hope someone followed my pics as the odds were very good and very high. Also the fact that at least 1 of the "should win" teams (pointing finger at Chelsea) actually didnt win...
Here are a few more predictions for tonights games and hopefully I'll be as good as yesterday :) Or at least half as good...
Rangers FC - VfB Stuttgart
Yesterdays german teams showed the will to win but lacked the finishing. I'll tell you what, If this was 1 of yesterdays matches id go for draw but, as they have seen their counterparts play and miss so many chances, I'll give Stuttgart that extra "umpf" and put my money on them. I've seen Rangers in person and to be honest they're not what i expected them to be. Good defense, good counter attacks good team work. But, good doesn't give u all 3 points. Now, lets face it, both these teams are underdogs in their group and every point gained or lost will mean a big deal to both of them. Barca and Lyon are expected to be 1 and 2 but, then again, they could finish 3rd and 4th...Stuttgart are a well organised team, with all round play and fast pace. I hope they can live up to my expectations tonight and give daddy new shoes! :)

Goal/No Goal - Goal (Both teams to score) @ 1.90
Barcelona - Lyon
Big teams live for Big matches! Lyon is big, Barcelona is bigger! Yes Barca have started the season bad, yes Barca are not scoring as many goals as we expect them to but! Yes Barca has beaten Lyon in their last two meetings, yes Barca beat Inter 5:0 this summer and Yes Barcelona beat Bayern also this summer. Like I said, teams like FC Barcelona can afford to start the season off with 2-3 bad games but games such as these divide them from the rest. The motivation will be on their side. This game has a lot of weight as the duel between these two decides who goes top in group. Frank Raicard will surely be extra motivating his team as tonights result will have affect on his situation as coach. Not for sure but, rumors will start and thats something he would want to avoid, as last years title slipped away and this seasons start isnt shining. Barca to repeat last years success IMO.

Roma - Dynamo Kiev
Three years ago these two teams met in their group stage. Both times Dynamo came out on top with 2:0 and 3:0 wins. Three years later and the situation is very different. Different players, different coaches, different times...But one thing remains the same, Roma wants revenge! Roma has been playing very well in their domestic league and I take this in account as the Italian league is one of the strongest leagues in europe. This ofcourse is one of those "Should win" games. We saw how Chelsea "should have won" yesterday and instead ended the match 1:1. Roma's fans have a different attitude and the players know this! You lose tonight and you'll regret it!

SPORTING - Manchester United
I don't care what people think, I'm putting my money on Sporting/Draw! Here we have a Manchester United side facing that is regarded as one of the cup contenders, visiting the home side Sporting who have signed some good players this year and are playing some strong football this season. If Manchester is the favorite here, why are the odds 2.00 on them!? I don't know, this is just too good to be true :) Besides, this is the exact same picture as yesterdays Porto - Liverpool. I know the total opposite can happen and Manchester beats Sporting something like 5:0! but, I'm just not relaxed with Man. Uniteds performance from the start...

Fenerbahce - Inter Milan
WOW! 2.10 on Inter! How can one not resist!? Let's be honest, Inter are supposed to win here! Not to underestimate Fener. not the least..but Inter has players that are capable of ripping teams apart! And its time Inter woke up and started doing this! I wont talk about this match anymore, I'll just be honest, at 2.10 on a team like Inter, you just have to go for it. If not, why bet!? PSV - CSKA Moscow
Here are two teams that know very well how to play in the European cups. Two teams that wont lift the trophy but, can go very far. I was looking at CSKA's away games and for some reason they're aren't doing as good as one would expect. Not sure why, when they have a good team. PSV is the same old same old. Very tough at home to beat and taking every chance they get to win points no matter where they play. PSV knows that they have a very good chance of making it into the second group stage and it's this game that the home crowd will want to see them off to a winning start!

Arsenal - Sevilla
Here's a team that won the Uefa cup 2 times in a row, now playing in the CHL. Forget that fact. This is ground zero and nothing is the same. Their first opponent in the group is Arsenal. No need for introductions here is there...
Here's my thought to this game..If you were manager of either of these two teams, wouldn't you be thinking, ok we want to win but, look at the other two opponents in our group, lets just keep our players fit here and take a point each and take the 3 points on the other two. After all... Slavia and Steaua shouldn't make that surprise that Rosenborg made. Even though the odds will be the same when these 4 teams meet, the difference between Rosenborg and Slavia and Steaua is somewhat big! Especially experience wise.
This may be a bad approach to this game as every team wants to secure points in their group but, for some reason I see this matchup going in to a draw. With goals or without...
Prediction : DRAW @ 3.25

Slavia Prague - Steaua Bucharest
To be honest...I dont know what to think about this match, except for the fact that these two teams know the reality of their group and that their matchup will decide who takes that 3rd spot that later on sends them to the Uefa cup stage... I'll give the Checs the green flag due to home advantage but don't quote me on this one... Again the odds are nice @ 2.25 not to gamble on..
