Liverpool v Wigan
Liverpool v Wigan

Anfield
Wednesday, 2 January
Kick-off: 2000 GMT
BBC coverage: BBC Sport website, BBC Radio Five Live & highlights on Match of the Day.

Liverpool have Peter Crouch available after a three-match ban but defender Sami Hyypia is still out, while Daniel Agger is unlikely to be fit.

Alvaro Arbeloa should stand in at centre half, with teenager Jack Hobbs unlikely to be risked.

Emile Heskey could make his eagerly-awaited Wigan comeback after missing the entire festive programme so far with a sprained ankle.

Jason Koumas is also set to be available after a groin problem.

Liverpool (from): Reina, Finnan, Arbeloa, Carragher, Hobbs, Riise, Aurelio, Kewell, Babel, Gerrard, Mascherano, Alonso, Benayoun, Crouch, Kuyt, Voronin, Torres, Itandje.

Wigan (from): Kirkland, Melchiot, Taylor, Boyce, Bramble, Kilbane, Valencia, Brown, Scharner, Landzaat, Koumas, Bent, Heskey, Aghahowa, Granqvist, Olembe, Koumas, Skoko, Cotterill, Hall, Sibierski, Pollitt.

This will be a high scoring game and a win for Liverpool IMO. On Anfield they play much more better than away and someone said that they should have won the game with Manchester City. As you see Liverpool has no important missings and will treat this game with maximum seriosity.

Pick : Liverpoll -1 handicap @ 1.57

Liverpool are almost unbetable with them saving the bookie from a big payout on combo's. I think I've learnt my lesson. Don't go Liverpool even at home.

if nobody bets on pool from now...it will win all matches...its evident that bookies control matches...
